The Jigsaw Cellar Story

The Jigsaw Cellar is part of The Book & Jigsaw Lounges in Kirkby Lonsdale.

The Book Lounge opened its doors in September 2018 and then we opened The Jigsaw Lounge in November 2021.  In September 2023 we relocated both shops to new premises at 41 Main Street.

The Jigsaw Lounge is situated in the beautifully refurbished 3 room cellar of our new premises, hence the name The Jigsaw Cellar for our online shop.

We sell a wide range of jigsaws for all ages from well known brands such as, Gibsons, Ravensburger, Wentworth, Galt, Orchard Toys and more.  We carry stocks of more than 1000 different jigsaws and continue to grow, adding new ranges all the time.

We aim to be environmentally friendly wherever possible.  Some of the jigsaw manufacturers have reduced the sizes of their boxes and are no longer wrapping the boxes in cellophane, and in some cases are using paper bags for the pieces. 

With this in mind, when we send out your orders, we will be reusing cardboard boxes whenever we can.

We strive to give you the best service we can and as a small independent business we offer you a personal service.
